Asian Rock Fest 2012 will take place on July 13th, in Berkeley, California. Asian Rock Fest is an annual music festival, which showcases Asian American bands and artists. The Asian Rock Fest 2012 lineup includes Golda + The Guns, Charito & FunkCH3N, The Slants, Alex Carbonel, and Johnny Hi-Fi. The organizers have donated all the money to allow Asian Rock Fest 2012 to be FREE for everyone to enjoy. The even is sponsored by Asian American for Community Involvement (AACI), Asian Week Foundation, ChannelAPA, Kollaboration SF, RAMA, TaiwaneseAmerican.org, Taiwanese American Professionals, The Girl Who Knows, and 8Asians. Asian Rock Fest 2012 will take place at La Pena Cultural Center (3105 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA), and the doors will open at 7:30pm. For more information, check out their Facebook event page.
