I first got a glimpse of Mike Song when he was on Kaba Modern during the first season of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Since then, he has become "an internationally renowned choreographer and dancer". On September 5, 2012, Mike Song uploaded a video choreography he performed with his mom, to Psy's "Gangname Style". Song released the video to his YouTube channel, and within two weeks the video has over 6 million views. The video even caught the interest of Ellen DeGeneres, and she reached out to Song and wanted them to perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Today, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Mike Song and Laura "Mama" Song performed their choreography for millions to see. Coincidentally (or intentionally), they performed their choreography during the same taping as Psy's second appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
