So there is a reality show called, K-Town, that started today on LOUD's YouTube Channel, and it looks like a hot mess. I guess all reality shows need to have some sort of chaos. It took this reality show about two years to finally debut to the public. I guess for the past two years, the producers have been trying to get a network to sign-on the show, but it didn't work out so they went to YouTube. If you love reality shows with lots of drama, check out K-Town on LOUD's Channel.
But for this post, I wanted to share a similar concept that was shown back in May of 2010. I like the storyline and layout of this web-series more than K-Town. So instead of finishing the first episode of K-Town, I went back and watched Ktown Cowboys. Danny Cho and Daniel DPD Park bring viewers an insight to what a night in Koreatown (Ktown) is all about through this web-series, Ktown Cowboys.
Synopsis: When John Kim (Lanny Joon) relocates from the comforts of his
picket-fence, WASP neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia to the alluring city of
Ktown Los Angeles, the land of sultry women, Booking Clubs, and late night taco
trucks, his arrival immediately sparks the most epic night of his life. His cousin,
Jason (Shane Yoon) introduces John to his audacious crew (Peter Jae,
Danny Cho, Sunn Wee, and Bobby Big Phony Choy) who teach John the basic
yet inventive ways on how to survive the perfect Friday night in Ktown.
